SNA-VA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

 

The SNA-VA Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to an SNA-VA member who has demonstrated exceptional service, leadership and dedication to child nutrition.  The recipient must have at least 25 years of service in school nutrition and be a current or retired SNA-VA member.  Industry members who meet these qualifications are also eligible.

 

A letter of recommendation, not to exceed 3 double spaced pages, should be submitted to the award committee chair no later than February 1, 2007.  Self nomination is acceptable.  The award will be presented at the installation banquet at the state conference.  The committee

 

The letter should address the following:

 

Ø     Number of years of service, with positions held, most recent listed first

Ø     State service

Ø     National service

Ø     Program innovation (be specific and able to document).  Highlight two or three of the most important

Ø     Recognition/Awards

 

 

The letter must be signed with appropriate contact information listed.  The decision of the committee is final.  Letters will not be returned.
